| Biography Dr. D. Lawrence Arockiasamy received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, India and a Master's in Chemistry at Loyola College, University of Madras, Chennai, India. He completed his doctoral research (as CSIR-Research Fellow) working with Dr. D. Mohan at the Anna University, Chennai, India. In his Ph.D work involved in preparation and characterization of polymeric membranes for heavy metal and protein removal. Before joining the King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology, King Saud University, He was a research associate at Prof. Gopal Agarwal lab, where he was investigated on Arsenic Removal using PAN membranes. He is working in preparation of Nanocomposite membranes for reverse osmosis, Nanofiltration, Vacuum membrane distillation and forward osmosis applications. He is having vast experience in membrane preparation and its characterization using advanced characterization instruments. He has published more than 20 publications peer journals and also given invited talk several scientific forums. |
