Three Scientist of Nobel Prize winners are members in the International Scientific Council of KAIN

King Saud University has formed a universal, highly qualified, and experienced scientific team of King Abdullah Council for Nanotechnology. University successfully was able to attract world wide prominent names of experience in the field of Nanotechnology; three of them are scientists and Nobel Prize winners, as well as a number of eminent names of experience on the international level
It’s planned that the first meeting may be held next March. King Saud University council declared his desire to verify council’s members’ scientific qualifications and experiences from advanced countries in Nano industry, which included United states of America, china, Britain, Japan and Germany. This step comes from King Saud University to the association of the great concern that the constable of the two holy mosques pays for Nanotechnology. The International scientific council of King Abdullah institute of Nanotechnology will be rewarded, as they will have the honor to shake hands with the constable of the two holy mosques and tell him about institute’s programs, achievements and future plans
The International scientific council of King Abdullah University Institute for Nanotechnology, includes three Nobel Prize scientists, who are: Professor Theodore Hats from Germany, Professor Tony Liqeat from University of Illinois of America and Professor Rowy Glober from Harford University of America, as well as professor James Moordy from south California – America, Professor Muneer Nayfeh from the University of Illinois- America , professor Stanford from America, professor Johan shwank from the University of Michigan- America, professor Krishna Sarasort from the University of Stanford- America, Androo Richard Williams from the British Leads university, professor herosheety kiyama and professor shonly Bye from Japan and professor Charles zosoki from the university of Illinois – America
It’s worth mentioning that King Abdullah institute for Nanotechnology at King Saud University comes as an achievement for the constable of the two holy mosques’ vision in Nanotechnology field at Saudi Universities, where the University seeks to establish a specified institute for the Nanotechnology inside university campus. The institute concerns with the applications, improvements and researchable fields at the energy field, water treatment, telecommunications, medicine, pharmacy, environment, nutrition, industry and study of the Nano materials properties then modeling and copying of the Nano structures, as well as teaching and training fields in different Nano fields; economic, industrial, social fields concerns with the Nanotechnology
King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology aimed at improving the Nano researches, technology and the industries that depends on, as well as assures the close relationship between the university and the different relevant sectors, in order to participate in building local economy and knowledge. It also aimed at preparing the local experienced people in the Nanotechnology field, and attracts specialists and researchers in Nanotechnology, improve academic programs at the university concerned with the Nanotechnology and sciences, building the infra structure for research and improving field of the Nanotechnology and science, support Nano projects and researches in several faculties in university, initiate strategies for corporation and planning in Nanotechnology and science with the local research universities and institutes as well as spread out the scientific awareness of the Nanotechnology and science on the educational and social level.
