Comparative study of public knowledge on Nonfoods and GMfoods in Yemen

Recently man used nanotechnology in different disciplines  one of them is food so now we have nanofoods. Man also used genetic engineering in producing genetically modified food ( GMfoods ). Public knowledge bout Nano foods and GMfoods is not clair.

This study aims to compare the public knowledge about these foods in a three main cities in Yemen Sanna Aden and Seiyun in Sanna governorate Aden Governorate  and Hadhramout Governorate respectively .the participants are 150 agricultural students from Sanna university Aden university and Hadramout University .The result indicate that the knowledge of the participants a bout GMfoods is low and a bout Nonfoods is very low. The general tendency of participants a bout the probability of consuming these foods in the future is low.
