In this study we present a simple method for the determination of nature of carbon nanotubes in a bundle prepared by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technique. The sample was irradiated by two wavelengths 633 nm and 514.5 nm. The spectra were taken in back scattering geometry. Four common peak positions are seen in the RBM spectra at positions 180 cm-1, 190 cm-1, 216 cm-1 and 252 cm-1. Calculations were taken at one peak position 216 cm-1. The results confirm that one third of nanotubes are metallic as previously theoretically proposed. Moreover some geometrical and electronic properties are also discussed in detail.
